Welcome to a story that marries ancient myth with the wonders of today. The role of Santa Claus, once known as Odin—the Norse god of wisdom and generosity—has been passed down through the ages. Today, I, Brandon Trube, am honored to carry on this age-old magic.
In days long past, Odin was a figure of reverence, particularly during the Yule season. His journey began atop an eight-legged horse, Sleipnir, with a mission to spread joy and prosperity.
As time passed, Odin evolved into the Santa Claus that the world adores today. The eight-legged horse metamorphosed into eight flying reindeer, and the ancient robes were traded for a jolly red and white suit.
Now, the torch—or rather, the sleigh reins—have been passed to me. As Brandon Trube, I've been chosen to uphold this timeless tradition, filling not just stockings but also hearts with the joy and wonder that defines the season.
This is more than a role; it's a calling. As Santa Claus, I embody the essence of the ancient magic that originated in Odin, transformed through the ages, and now resides in me. One of the highlights of this role is my annual visits to elementary schools, where the excitement in children's eyes is nothing short of magical. And let's not forget the adults, who also look forward to these yearly visits that rekindle the holiday spirit in everyone.
